2024/2025 Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) is now open for application.

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the FSM welcomes all FSM high school graduates and college students towards scholarship opportunities for studying in China.

Log onto http://www.campuschina.org to find all the information and make your online application. Your “Agency Number” is 5831.

Please submit online no later than March 1, 2024.

Scholarships in China

China offers a variety of scholarships for international students. Here are some of them:

• Chinese Government Scholarship (Type B): This scholarship is set up by the Chinese government to facilitate students and scholars from all over the world to conduct their study and research at Chinese universities.

• High-Level Postgraduate Program at Nanjing University 2024: This scholarship is available and accessible to both domestic and international students enrolling in degree programs at the University.

Eligibility Criteria for Chinese Scholarships

Application Process:

The application process for the Chinese Government Scholarship is as follows:

Identify a University: Choose your top three Chinese universities and find their agency numbers.

• Choose Scholarship Type: Identify which scholarship you will apply for.

• Prepare Your Documents: Prepare all required documents. These include a valid identity document, ID card or passport, a photograph taken within the last 1 year, national exam results (if any), diploma or temporary graduation certificate, transcript, international exam results (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.) if required by the chosen university or program, international language test results such as TOEFL, DELF if required by the chosen university or program, and a proposal for a research topic and a written example of the research you have carried out (only for PhD applications).

• Submit Your Documents: Submit your documents.

• Apply Online: Visit the official site of the Chinese Government Scholarship and create your personal account on the CSC Scholarship Application System. Fill out and submit the CSC form, then download its copy.

• Wait for the Results: Await the results.
